Her late Majesty, as Her own. --I am confirmed in this Belief, by the Recollection of our particular circumstance. --At a time when The Queen's Treasury was embarrassed, the late Mr. Price purposed selling one of these Stones, and Her Majesty asked of Mr. Bridge the value of them for that purpose, which Her extreme conscientiousness would not have suffered Her to do, unless She considered them as entirely Her own Property. Besides the large Pearl Drop, I can speak positively only to a Brilliant Cluster Ring, as according to Her late Majesty's own Account of them, belonging to Meckelenburg. --I have some Recollection that Her Majesty spoke of the large brilliant Cluster Buttons as belonging to Mecklenburg, but would not swear to it, nor to the number. /signed/ Charlotte Beckecloff.
