Letter from Lord Arden and Major-General Taylor to the Lord Chancellor (f 36827) concerning the jewels of Queen Charlotte, deceased; "Schedule of Papers sent to the Lord Chancellor" (f 36828); "Contents of the large Jewel Case" (f 36829) with valuations by Mr Bridge totalling £30 880; declaration by Princess Augusta (f 36830); declaration by Princess Mary (f 36831) with reference to jewels presented by the 'Nabob of Arcot' [Muhammad Ali Khan Wallajah]; declaration by Princess Sophia (f 36832); extract of a letter from the Duke of York (f 36833); declaration by Charlotte Beckedorff (f 36834); and declaration by Sophie Beckedorff (f 36835) These documents are manuscript copies. It is not known when these copies were made or the identity of the copyist"
