Majesty's Apartment She thus addressed Me [[underline]] "Sir I hear The King has had a fall today and I wish to have your account of it"-- [[/underline]] With the full recollection at this moment of His Majesty's [[underline]] very strict injunction [[/underline]] not to mention to anyone his having had a fall, I own I was not a little puzzled with Her Majesty's question, & which She had now addressed to me with much Earnestness -- Prompt decision, inclined me not to be influenced on this occasion by the Old Adage viz, [[underline]] "That truth was not to be spoke at all times" [[/underline]] Off hand I therefore answered, that I perceived Her Majesty had been informed that The King had had a fall that day, but as He [[underline]] truly [[/underline]] was not hurt, He had given a [[underline]] very strict injunction, [[/underline]] that the circumstance should [[underline]] not [[/underline]] be mentioned to any body, but tht now from what Her Majesty had said, I was ready to obey Her Commands -- The Queen then desired Me to mention accurately how it had happend & the particulars - All this I did
