[[/underline]] His Majesty prepared for hunting, left The Queen's Lodge at Eight oClock this Morning Previous to our Mounting our Hacks, H.My. had equipped Me [[underline]] with a Cap & hunting Whip [[/underline]] -- I attended Him [[underline]] thus well equipped [[/underline]] to Cover - in a gallop-- At Brick Bridge His Majesty changed his Hack & mounted His Hunter -- and He was so good as to lend Me a good hunter of his, called [[underline]] North West [[/underline]] for this days chase -- It was not long after The Hounds were thrown into Cover, when The Stag was roused, & when for above Two hours ran smartly from Cover to Cover - He crossed The Brooke three times -- The last attempt proved fatal to Him - He was caught endeavouring to get up its steep & Encumbered Bank, & could not be saved -- There was a numerous Feild - I counted
