I had better luck with [[underline]] Poppet [[/underline]] who having carried Me pleasantly throughout this ride, I returned safe &sound to Her Majesty's Stables - On the Way back in one of the Lanes Their Majesties met Mr [[underline]] Powney* [[/underline]] The Member for Windsor who was shooting - He presented Them with some Partridges & a Landrail -- The usual Walk on the Terrace & Music at The Queen's Lodge wound up this day. [[underline]] Tuesday Septr. 4th. [[/underline]] His Majesty was at his Stables this Morning at 7 o'clock - & made his Arrangements for his ride this day - [[note]] In the House of Commons [[underline] Wags* [[/underline]] often called Him The King's [[unclear]] [[unclear]] They less jocose on [[underline]] General Sir George Howard [[/underline]] who they called The King's [[underline]] Long Tail [[/underline]] [[/note]]
