His Majesty was pleased to order one of his own Horses ( [[underline]] Poppet [[/underline]] ) for Me to ride with Him this morning -- His Majesty mounted his Horse at half past nine o'Clock -- The Queen went in Her Phaeton -- Our Ride was to [[underline]] Hedsor [[/underline]] Lord Bostons not far from Taplow. The House is a new one -- It stands on very rising ground, a situation much improved from that of The Old House which was in a low situation near the Church-- The Offices of the New House are under ground as in London Houses, but which I do not think suits a single House in convenience or in appearance -- The View from the back part of the House is extremely pretty, looking under the foliage of very lofty Trees upon an Extended Plain, thro' which The Thames winds in a very pleasing course -- This cheerful Landscape
