yesterday -- He reports, that [[underline]] Lady Stormonts [[/underline]] Baby is a very fine one, & very like Her Son George - [[underline]] Not the worse for that [[/underline]] After dinner all were summoned to The Terrace -- Charles was preparing for it, when some [[underline]] of The Courtiers, [[/underline]] on his ascending the Terrace Steps, in a [[underline]] Round Hat, [[/underline]] queried the Etiquette - My brother paused, retired, but I brought Him forward again, with his Head [[underline]] properly [[/underline]] surmounted by one of My Military Hats - His appearance thus Equipped, diverted their Majesties & the Prince of Wales much, & who listen'd with much satisfaction to the processes, which had occasioned his present Equipment - All this Charles carried off Extremely well, & He was much gratified & flattered by the gracious reception He met with on the Terrace -- After the promenade My Brother proceeded in his Phaeton to Salt Hill from whence He intends to start Early tomorrow
