The Servant blunder'd this plain Message -- He went to Weybridge, & directed The King's Servants to make all the haste they could with our relay Horses to [[underline]] Clermont [[/underline]], instead of directing Them to Cobham as He had been order'd to do - In consequence just as We were leaving Clermont, We saw our relays, arriving in a lather & nearly blown His Majesty was much displeased & none of His Party satisfied -- The Prince's Horses were also included in the inconvenience of this blunder -- His Majesty waited some time till his favourite mare [[underline]] Bounce [[/underline]] had recovered Her Wind, & then mounted Her on his return. As the day was very sultry & that my old Horse [[underline]] Perriau [[/underline]] had come very smartly in his place to Clermont, I determined to ride [[underline]] Fairy [[/underline]] back the whole way, as She was at this time, the freshest --
