alterations He had lately made on the Terrace & communicated to Me the plan which He intended to Execute in addition to that part which He had already begun-- At Eight o'Clock went to The Chapel in Windsor Castle-- At half past Nine oClock His Majesty mounted his Horse intending for a Ride-- We rode through Windsor and Eton to Salt Hill - from thence crossing the London Road. We went through Lanes & Woods, & again regained the London Road between Salt Hill & Maidenhead-- I have not yet had opportunity of knowing the Environs of Windsor, to give more accurate outlines of many of our usual progresses, but as our Exercise is constant, I shall e'er long obtain more accurate knowledge of the locals.
