Horses, & at this time H:My. gave directions for those which He selected to go with Him to the Review of The Blues on Asford Common about 8 miles from hence, & which is to take place tomorrow -- After having made this Arrangement in his own Stables, The King went to my Stables to inspect My Horses - & at this time, I fixed upon [[underline]] Perreau [[/underline]], a clever nag of mine, for my first mounted duty. This Horse came into My possession by a fatal Event, which overtook its former owner who was Executed [[underline]] for a Forgery [[/underline]]; on his being taken up, His ^ [[addition]] Horse [[/addition]] was seized by a [[underline]] Crediter, [[/underline]] & sold to meet debts-- The trial of this Man & Mrs. Rudd occasioned much talk at this time, & I continued [[underline]] the name [[/underline]], of the former after his misfortune, by [[underline]] My Horse [[/underline]] -- In this Walk to the Stables ^ [[addition]] The King [[/addition]] was pleased to hold gracious & kind conversation [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]]
