King's Lodge Weymouth Spr. 5th. 1804. The King is much pleased with Mr. Wyatt's Report of the State of the Works in hand in Windsor Castle and has nothing to remark but that He feels the reasons are conclusive why the Opening cannot be made in the Middle of the Musick Room, and Approves of Handel's bust being placed in Half Pannel on a bracket as was intended over the Chimney but sufficiently high that the Harpsichord may remain in its present place; The Chimney in this case need not be altered. the door into the old Confectionary from the withdrawing to it must be now executed as well as a passage at the back of that side of the Room from whence the Communication will come to Mrs Egerton's Tower.
