Frogmore House March 26th.1824. My Dearest Adolphus. My first business this Sunday shall be to wish you and Dearest Augusta joy jointly of the little [[underline]] Angel Georges [[/underline]] Birthday and to pray from my Heart He may be the counterpart of your [[underline]] Dearest self [[/underline]] my beloved Adolphus. when [[underline]] He grows up: better [[/underline]] I cannot [[underline]] wish [[/underline]] Him to be, and Dear Augusta I am sure will heartily join in the Prayer - Sophy Wynyard and I have just been to look at His Sweet Picture which is to follow me to London as soon as the frame is ready for it, but as it was to be Varnished, it is better not to frame it till it is done, and the damp of our Climate makes it uncertain how soon the Gilding of a frame is fit to to place the Picture consequently I must still wait until I can have the pleasure of [[unclear]] it in my Drawing room at St James's. Your pretty Lustre and Clock were both placed there when I was last in London and now I shall set about Mounting Dear Augusta and Louisa's Work as soon as the borders arrive. The Clarences passed four days with me. We had very bad weather the three first days but we drove out every day - on Tuesday it was very fine and then we walked all over the place, and we had a very cheerfull and pleasant dinner at the Castle.
