Windsor Castle Oct 4th. 1817 My Dearest Brother I am commanded by the Queen with Her butler to inform you, that after having tried everything which Sir Henry Halford has recommended to remove the inconvenience She has long suffered with from Her Stomach, and that nothing has hitherto given Her more than temporary relief She has at last consented to try the Bath Waters - and therefore untill She had named it to Her Council and made Her arrangements with them She would not mention to anybody, - Early in November is the time that Sir Henry wishes her to go to Bath and She must remain there such a length of time as not to hurry Her when taking the Waters, therefore She says that happy as She always is to Visit You, She must give up Her pleasure of going to Brighton for this year, as it will be necessary for her to keep quiet for some time after Her return home - You will receive a letter from
