Letter from Princess Augusta to the Prince Regent 28th. Augt. 1815 Windsor Castle August 28th. 1815 My Dearest Brother The Queen having Communicated to my Sisters and myself the contents of your letter we are anxious to assure you how Sensible we are of your kindness to us upon all occasions, and of the friendly reception you are always ready to give us.- But at the same time we consider it our Duty to the Queen and to ourselves to state to you that we wish upon this occasion as well as upon every other to be guided by Her Example and that we can follow no other line than that which She has taken in the propriety of which we entirely concur We most sincerely and Affectionately wish every happiness to Ernest and the Duchess of Cumberland Believe me my Dearest Brother Your very faithfully [[underline]] Affectionate [[/underline]] Augusta
