My Dearest Brother I am extremely sorry that it is out of my power to accompany the Queen and Mary to Carlton House tomorrow, but I am so [[underline]] far from [[/underline]] well with a Bilious Attack (a circumstance which is always [[unclear]] to happen when the Weather is so intensely Cold - in addition to all the worry I have had on My Mind ) that Mr Dundas has forbid me to stir from home. I am particularly sorry that I should be prevented from going to London [[underline]] this time [[/underline]] - as for [[underline]] every reason [[/underline]] I should have wished to have been there, and most especially as it is so long since I have seen you and that I wished [[underline]] personally [[/underline]] to thank you for all your kindness to us. - Eliza is so good as to go London instead of me and She will as well as Mary assure you that nothing but indisposition could have detained me from Visiting you. Believe me ever my Dearest Brother your very truly Affectionate and Gratefull Augusta Monday Decbr. 14 -1812
