My Dearest Brother My Kind Edward is so good as to take charge of a little present which I beg You will accept as a tribute of Affection from Eliza and myself - You are well acquainted with my Heart and that You have lived there from the moment instinct could act in my breast, and with rooted Affection ever since reason could form my Judgement - It is needless that I should try to make a Compliment to You when the truth speaks for itself and I cannot love You more sincerely on one day than I do [[underline]] all the days of my life [[/underline]] My Affection for you may increase if such an old friendship as ours has the [[unclear]] of ever changing, but it will never cease but with the existence of Your most truly Devoted & Gratefull Augusta August 10th 1807
