The Princess Augusta My Dearest Brother In justification to my Gratitude though I have appeared very Negligent in that Quality I must send you this Note which was written on my birthday and which was folded up intending to by Edward to send it to you but not being able to seal it before dinner in the hurry of seeing Company I unfortunately locked it up and firmly thought that I had given it to Edward [[unclear]] I found out my mistake till today. I hope you will forgive me for I should be the most ungratefull being with respect to you - and unjust to my own feelings if I did not express (though but very feebly) the sincere and Unalterable Affection of My Dearest Brother Your most Devoted and Attached Augusta Windsor Castle Novr. 23d 1800
