It is scarcely possible for me My ever Dearest GP to express how Dearly I love you - you know of old I am no fine Speech maker but as Shakespeare says "Truth has better deeds than words do grant it " and no time no absence can change the Sentiments of friendship and Affection that I have ever felt for you I am truly sorry that Indisposition prevents my having the happiness and Comfort of seeing you today - but I trust when we next meet you will be in perfect Health - [[underline]] Pitty Witty [[/underline]] has been cooing over the thoughts and hopes of seeing you - & She says "Dear Sweet Prince of Wales how very tiresome of Him to be sick now; without considering that one does not send an invitation to sickness nor call out to it "[[underline]] Keep yourself disengaged" as some folk are wont to say - [[/underline]] I am very happy to be able to say that the Queen is a great deal better She is still very pale which I believe is chiefly owing to Her having staid at home for such a long time as a fortnight & therefore always living in and breathing confined Air - My Sisters all desire their most Affectionate love to you & your Child - [[underline]] Amelia [[/underline]] is grown very [[underline]] handsome [[/underline]] and [[underline]] stout [[/underline]] but I wish She would [[underline]] eat [[/underline]] a little [[underline]] better food [[/underline]] - you [[addition]] must [[/addition]] give Her some advice about it when you see Her again- it is now Her [[underline]] only fault [[/underline]] I return you many Thanks for the beautiful [[underline]] bracelets [[/underline]] little
