Weymouth Septr. 18th 1798 My Dearest Brother I have received The Queen's Command to desire you would write Mr Battern & advise Him, (as from Yourself) to write [[underline]] to Her, [[/underline]] & to state that hearing Sir Jonathan's place is likely to be Vacant - He would be very happy to have His Son [[underline]] Named to it [[/underline]] and all this you must be so good to do without [[underline]] Naming [[/underline]] The Queen She can then shew Mr Batterns Letter which She thinks the best Method - You will in the propriety of [[underline]] all this [[/underline]] Scheme - I hope you are well My Dearest and that Your stay at Canterbury will be pleasant - Dear Amelia is full of Your Goodness to Her which you know is an Old Subject of Delight to your Poor [[underline]] Mutty [[/underline]] as You called me the last Day at [[unclear]] / - I am quite enchanted with the last accounts You sent in of Her - & all Her letters are written in good Spirits Poor Sophy has had a Cramp but it only lasted two Hours & today She will dine down
