July 23d 1798 My ever Dearest Brother We are all quite concerned to hear that you have met with another Accident - especially as Your poor Leg has received a fresh [[unclear]] - The King has spoke in the Highest terms of last Friday review - He told all the Gentlemen that the Regiment had done [[underline]] amazingly [[/underline]] well - that they did [[addition]] the [[/addition]] Second Exercize [[underline]] better [[/underline]] than ever He had seen it done [[underline]] before [[/underline]] - and that as [[underline]] for [[/underline]] the riding He approved greatly of their [[underline]] not having rode too fast [[/underline]] for that they [[unclear]] clearly by what they had done, that they [[underline]] sat [[/underline]] remarkably well - all these things I [[underline]] pocketted [[/underline]] for you hoping to have seen you Yesterday - but that pleasure being Defied, I must trouble you with a few lines Dear Brother is quite contented with the arrangement for Her Journey - I knew how happy I could make Her by the [[underline]] just & General approbation [[/underline]] the 10th met with on Friday and I told Her all the [[underline]] particulars [[/underline]]
