to me that the greatest mark of respect that I can show to his Royal Highness, is to make a sacrifice of an honour so extremely flattering to me, rather than be wanting in any expression of reverence to his Majesty and to the Prince: and as your Royal Highness knows how proud I am of your Royal Highness's constant graciousness towards me you must be sure, Madam, that I shoud not wave receiving so precious a mark of your favour, if I did not think that a scrupulous respect to your royal Family was the properest way of expressing my Gratitude to your Royal Highness.
