Princess Amelia. Gunnersbury Oct: 17th. 1772. Gunnersbury Oct 17th - 1772. My Dear Sir My Lord Holderness who is allwais desirous of Obliging, gave me this morning your very fine wrote letter. It is far beyond what I Coul'd have expected of a Prince of your age. I ought to say a great deal for your having accepted ye poor amusement you had at my House but I cannot say enough, Sir, how charmed I am with seing you so forward in every proper qualification for your rank. I hope you will not dislike a little Ball about Christmass when ye young Gentlemen that have ye honor to be liked by you, have Holy days. I am with ye greatest tenderness & Sincerity, My Dear Sir, your most affectionate Aunt. Amelia
