On the progress of Princess Caroline from Brunswick; 'I hope by this Time You have made Yr Mind easy about many ['many' crossed out] Yr Seafaring People, it is what I do anxiously wish for Yr sake, as I know nothing so Plaguing in Life as an unexplained Conduct'; 'It ever has & ever Shall be my Study to derserve Yr good opinion, & if by any exertion of mine I can at this present moment extricate You out of Yr difficulties, & procure You ['You' crossed out] what You wish to have, my Inclination would lead me to do it Unasked' Signed
