Nothing can equal the joy with ['with' crossed out] which the Commission I was intrusted with for the King has occasioned; He desired that ['that' crossed out] me to return You his Thanks for having employed me to convey such agreable News, & to assure You that He never could forget Your Conduct upon this occasion. these are His own words & I thought them so expressive, that I should feel doing Him injustice by not making use of them'; on his brother Signed and dated at Windsor
